Michael Blaney, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board certified surgeon specializing in advanced laparoscopy, endoscopy, weight loss surgery and reflux disease. Dr. Blaney practices at Jones, Engler, Hill, Blaney and Associates in Augusta, Ga. Dr. Blaney earned his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and then completed his surgical training at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Ga. He then spent four years in the Army as a staff surgeon at Fort Benning, Ga. Dr. Blaney is certified by the American Board of Surgeons, he is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons.
